Apple Picking 2013

We did our yearly apple picking trip a couple weekends ago.
This is easily one of my very favorite family traditions!! We've been doing it since we moved here and were in elementary school!
We head out to Emmett, pick apples, and then get ice cream at Arctic Circle and hit up Kings and Bi-Mart! It's SO fun!
It was the first year this stud could walk!! Yay!!

Mr. T, I mean Uncle B, and Quinny

Can you see the unibomber photo bombing this picture!?

Then it was Mr. T's turn to photo bomb.

Quinn was obsessed with these ladders!!

Professional Pre-Schooler

Paiton started her 3rd year of preschool this year!
We are super proud of her. She LOVES Miss Carolanne and is already talking about how sad she will be to have a different teacher next year. She is totally a professional preschooler by now! :)

She is doing awesome as always. She is reading like a champ and being so big. She loves school and all her friends, though a lot of them left for Kindergarten!
She is also in her 4th session of ballet which she LOVES. She wants to start clogging, much to my delight, but she also wants to do gymnastics and swim lessons as well. We need to find a money tree and some more hours in the day! ;)
She's an awesome kid and I'm already dreading that first day of Kindergarten next year!!!

Here are a few random pictures that I had used to start a blog post, and never finished!
Q and I floating in the lazy river.
P and I on the swings at the fair.

Fair fun! I do love the fair!

Last weekend we traveled to Spokane where I had a wedding to shoot!
My mom and dad came too. Originally they were coming to babysit because Matt was supposed to be in New York. My dad went all out and blacked out the back window of his car and constructed a box that held his laptop for the kids to watch movies. Needless to say, they didn't spend one second in our car! :)

 I worked while Matt drove!

We got to our hotel and had adjoining rooms. I think Mom and Dad probably regretted that later on ;)
The kids swinging at a park next to the hotel
Matt and Dad played some tennis.

We got to the hotel Friday night and just hung out. Saturday we went to the river and the kids dug in the sand and swam!

I just can't resist baby toes. Especially in baby Reefs!

 "No more cheese, Mommy!"

After the river Dad and Matt went out to watch the BSU game and Mom and I took the kids to the mall and then we laid around in bed!

 I can't resist this face!!
We found a Cinnabon!! Yum!!! One of my favorites!
 Eating breakfast in the hotel
Howling like a puppy, as usual!
My babies in the elevator. It was a highlight for sure!
Sunday I had the wedding to shoot. It was in a gorgeous spot, this was where I drove in!
Amy and I after she got all fancied up!
Sunday was a long day shooting the wedding. Monday was Labor Day and we took the kids to Silverwood! It was SO fun!! We seriously loved it so much! Tons of fun, not many people, it was cool and kind of sprinkling which was much better than blazing hot! It was almost as much fun as Disney with not as many people! If only there were Princesses there! ;)
Paiton giving a thumbs up for being tall enough to ride!!

On the kids favorite ride! It was a big, slanted ferris wheel but it was speedy!! It went fast and we all loved it!

Matt and dad are on this somewhere:

Paiton and Nannie driving cars. Paiton was so excited to drive, but once it was time she panicked and told Nannie she shouldn't because she doesn't have a drivers license! ;)
 Quinn tried to drive ours!
 Paiton playing the dart game!
On the train ride. Quinn LOVED it!
We went to a little ice cream shop in Silverwood and ordered single scoops. They told us that a single scoop is FIVE scoops of ice cream!! Fine by me!
 Good night hugs and kisses

Tuesday we drove home. We had SO much fun and are SO glad mom and dad came too!! They were such a huge, huge, HUGE help and we are so thankful for them. On our way home we stopped at Matt's old college so he could show me the campus! :)
He wouldn't pose for me on the campus to take his picture though. ;)
