Christmas Morning Video

Go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6KKE3Ut-AY
to watch a video of Paiton on Christmas morning. It's SO cute and you must see it!! :)
Look below for Christmas and Christmas Eve posts!

Christmas 2010!

Merry Christmas 2010!!!
We had a fantastic Christmas, as always!! They just keep getting better and better with a fun little girl to share them with!!
We got up and got everything ready, then waited for sleepy head to wake up! She woke up smiling!!
Then we headed out to see if Santa had visited, and he had!!
Quinn and Paiton's stockings:
What Santa left for Paiton:
A fish tank with 5 fish, her stocking, and some stuff for her kitchen!! Woohoo!!
She was very happy to see that he ate her cookies, drank her milk, and that the reindeer enjoyed their carrots!
He even left her a note!!
I have a really cute video of her coming out to see what Santa had left, but it isn't uploading! :( I will keep trying on another blog....
We were cracking up because Paiton started eating the carrots that the reindeer had left!! Silly girl!! :)
She LOVED her fish and kept saying they were "So beautiful!" or "So pretty!" :) Made our hearts grow!!
Then of course it was time to dig through the stockings!!
She got a princess crown and insisted it go on right that second. It didn't come off for a couple days!
She also got an iTunes card in her stocking!! She uses my iPod Touch and always wants certain songs on it, so Santa got her her own iTunes card so she could pick out all her own music!
This Christmas morning was different than years past. Because we're the only ones with more than one family to see and driving around to do everyone came over to our house. That way we didn't have to lock the dogs up all day!
Ryan loved the fish and kept giving them kisses!
Love these kids!!
Ryan giving kisses. Apparently Paiton only wanted to receive them.
Then it was time to open presents!!!!
Paiton with her piano from Ema and Grandpa:
The boys liked their chairs!
P and Cadon putting a puzzle together:
After presents we ate breakfast, delicious!! Egg Supreme on Christmas is a family tradition and has been since....I am not sure!? Since my grandma was little maybe?? Anyway, it is my favorite and we ONLY get to have it on Christmas!!
After breakfast there was another surprise waiting for the kids outside!!

Paiton and Ryan got cars and Cadon got a basketball hoop!
Mom and Dad got me a waffle maker!! If you know me, you know I LOVE breakfast food, especially waffles and pancakes! I also love making my own waffles in hotels with their cool waffle makers that you can rotate, and my mom knows that! Which is why she got me this:
Score!! It's a fancy, rotating one!!
Paiton LOVES her car! She will sit in it and watch a movie, or just drive around!!

After all of the present opening and food eating everyone went home and Paiton took a nap. Matt and I watched a movie and relaxed. When Paiton woke up it was time to head to Matt's parents house for dinner and more presents!
Going through her stocking:
Paiton thought it was cool there was a big open space where the kitchen table usually is, and she enjoyed dancing and spinning in it :)
Dinner time!!
Then it was time to open presents!! Paiton got comfy in her new jammies from Titi Cami and we were ready!
Chris and the giant penny ball...
Paiton was very happy to get a "video game!"
The girls checking their emails ;)
Kylie in her chair I made her:
Stacie in a "present coma"
Family picture!
Stacie - 28 weeks pregnant, Me - 20 1/2 weeks pregnant
Every year Matt's mom gives everyone a pair of Christmas socks, and every year we take a picture of our feet in a circle. The baby girls' feet even got included :)
We had a lot of fun. I got a camera from Matt's parents! Woohoo!! Now I can put my other little one to rest :) It was a good camera, but at the end there it just wasn't taking good pictures!! Matt's dad also surprised Kathy, Stacie, and I and got us each a massage at Rain!! Thanks!
We got so spoiled by everyone this year!! I had this great idea to take a picture of each of our "piles" but that seemed like a lot of work so I'll try and remember some highlights:
Paiton - fish, Cozy Coupe car, Laptop, play house, clothes, piano, Tag Jr. reader, Pillow Pet Penguin, books, pajamas, gift cards, plastic picnic table.
Me - cute beanie, camera, massage, waffle maker, sweatshirt, CD's, book, movie, gift cards to go out to eat with Matt.
Matt - Books, movies, video games, gift cards, sweatshirt.
This was the next day - I told you the crown hasn't come off!!
And I wanted to share pictures of this really cute felt book that Aunt Stacie made Paiton. It's so cute!!
Hope everyone had an equally good Christmas and a huge THANKS to EVERYONE for all of our presents!!!!!! :) Even baby Quinn got some good stuff! :)

Christmas Eve

We had quite the fun filled Christmas Eve, as usual!
Our tradition for years, I think since we moved up here, has been to go bowling on Christmas Eve and get some lunch. Over the last couple of years the bowling alley has been getting busier and busier on Christmas Eve. This year as we walked in we were greeted by a long line and a waiting list for a lane. With the 3 kids we decided not to wait it out and do something else instead. We ate some lunch and then headed to Wahooz, a game place in Meridian.
First here is Paiton Christmas Eve morning, apparently Kotah decided her bed looked quite comfy and he needed to join her!
Paiton wore her pretty new dress on Christmas Eve:
And being the girly-girl she is, she insisted I paint her piggies pink to match:
Thanks to my mom and dad, who bought everyone tokens to play with at Wahooz!! :)

P thought the skee ball was a slide
All she talked about on the way there was "Driving with Titi". She loves the racing games and "driving"!

This is the game that captured all of our attention (and I won't even begin to estimate how much of our money!)
We were seriously SO close to winning an iPad, I can't even tell you. Spencer, Matt, Brandon, and I were hooked on it. Like couldn't stop playing, couldn't stop spending money, we're going home with an iPad if it kills us, hooked.
We didn't win.
Papa and sleepy Paiton watching us play the game:
Cutest kids!!
When we were done playing we headed back to Mom and Dad's to open our customary Christmas Even gifts. The kids got spoiled!! They walked upstairs to find this:
A play house!! (Which for some reason Paiton insists on calling The Dog House...)
Possibly because of this -

So much fun!! Thanks Nana and Papa!!
So excited to open her Christmas Eve present!
Paiton was exhausted after all that playing and not having a nap and had a meltdown when we got in the car to go to Matt's parents. Unfortunately we had to just head home so she could rest!
She took a bath and we got everything set up for Santa to come!!
We put out Santa's cookies and milk and some carrots for the reindeer. My little reindeer helped herself to some carrots as well!
Then it was time to go to bed and hope that in the morning Santa had stopped by!
I spent the evening sewing for hours and finishing up projects that needed to get done. Matt went to play games with Brandon and Spencer, so it was just me and my sewing machine once P went to sleep! I went in to check on her and found her sleeping like this:
Silly girl!
Here are the projects I made this year:
These are chairs I made for my nephews and niece.
Ryan's chair:

And just a close up so you can see a little bit of the detail they had:
Cadon's chair:
Kylie's chair:
And this was the longest project! It's a quilt I made Cami! I think it turned out really cute, but by the end of it I was really tired of looking at that fabric!! :)
Close up of one side with the surf cars:

Close up of the other side with flowers:
I really hope everyone liked their presents!!
