I can't believe I forgot to add this to the post earlier: I signed Paiton up for swim lessons! I am so excited! They start Monday at the YMCA in Caldwell from 4:30 - 5:10. They are Mondays and Wednesdays for 4 weeks! She will end the last week of May, which is right in time for Roaring Springs to open!
I think I may also enroll her in the summer session swim lessons at the racquet club that we're members of. They have an outdoor pool so it would be nice to do some out there when the weather is hot, since we'll be spending so much time in the water again this year I want her really comfortable with it!!
I'm so excited! And it just so happens Matt's kids don't have school Monday (he still has to work) so there's no tennis practice which means he gets to come to her first lesson!!!!
Pictures will definitely be posted next week!

Paiton amazed me yet again yesterday with another word I didn't know she knew! She always says please and thank you, but yesterday she handed me her shoe and I said "Thank you!" and she said "Welcome!" I grabbed the video camera and as you'll see, tried to reenact it, but finally just had to ask her to say it! It's very cute. I also made her perform all her animals sounds (she refused to do the fish, which is so cute, but she is very selective as to when to be a fish!)
And she has already started walking around in Mommy's shoes. She especially likes the sparkly ones. I've taught her well! :)

Fun times!
We had a pretty busy weekend over here!
On Friday morning Paiton and I went to my friend Christine's house to do some maternity pictures for her. She has a one year old boy, Corbin, so he and Paiton played outside while we did some pictures!
Check them out here:
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=164593&id=114258278118&l=68b1c87ce4
Then Paiton hung out with Nana while I headed to the eye doctor (and ordered glasses finally, yay for being able to see!)
Then that afternoon I had another photoshoot for an engagement session so Paiton hung out with Grandma and Grandpa and played! Thanks everyone for helping with Paiton that day!
Friday night Spencer came home with us and spent all weekend with us because Mom, Dad and Cami had to go to Twin Falls for a soccer tournament. I didn't see much of Spencer and Matt over the weekend!!
Saturday we just hung out and went to pizza with Matt's parents and showed his dad my new car! Paiton and I did some shopping and started some crafts and I spent hours editing pictures!
Sunday I had another engagement photoshoot in downtown Boise and at BSU. That one was a lot of fun! I am still working on those pictures but I will post a link to them once I get finished!
Yesterday I had a meeting that I couldn't take Paiton to, it is getting harder and harder to cart her along with me to all my meetings, so I took her over to Grandma Kathy's house to play. Her cousin Kylie was also there, so the girls got to play together!
Kathy took these pictures while I was gone, but I stole them from her camera!

I think it's so funny that in this picture the same expression:
Apparently Kylie liked chasing Paiton around:

Kylie was asleep when I dropped Paiton off, but when I went to pick her up she was awake and immediately held her arms up to me for me to pick her up! Then she didn't want me to put her down! She would wrap her arms tight around my neck and hug me and pat my back. It was very very sweet!
Paiton wasn't sure how she felt about Ky loving on her Mommy so she joined in the action too!
Here are just a couple older pictures I never posted.
Kathy found this alligator stuff for Paiton! Isn't it so cute!?

We went on a picnic to the park with our BFF's Kim and Cohen the other day!

Paiton is still obsessed with Dora and Toy Story. She now has a Buzz Lightyear and a Woody doll that her daddy bought her.
She loves them so much, and she does the cutest thing. She will bounce her Woody doll up and down and say "Howdy howdy howdy!" Haha!! I need to get a video of it! I keep telling you all, GENIUS!!
Laying in bed with Woody:
Using Buzz to guard her face so Mommy can't take any more pictures:
In the car, they both have to go everywhere with us!
She is such a fishy! As soon as I put her in the bath she flops onto her belly and "swims"
I think that at the very beginning of this video I got Paiton doing her new trick. Yesterday in the bath she started putting her face in the water all on her own! Of course when I started videotaping it she stopped, but I think in this one I caught her doing it at the very beginning...

Happy Birthday Amy

Happy what-would-be-her 27th Birthday Amy!
April 25 would have been Amy's 27th birthday. I miss you like crazy. Still. I think about you every day (but you know that because crazy me I talk to you when I need you.)
I have our memories. And I can still hear your voice and your laugh.
I wish you were here to celebrate.
Love you forever.

Bathing Suits!
Ok, here it is. A picture of Paiton in all her bathing suits! She was NOT in the mood, and refused to get off the couch, so I am sorry for the absolutely terrible picture quality, you know that is not like me!! These were the best I could get before her meltdown (as you'll see in the last picture). A nap is in order!!
I didn't notice how many bathing suits she had, I just kept buying them when they were on sale. Oh well, she'll be swimming a lot this summer. Roaring Springs opens in 23 days!!
This one is from Grandma Kathy
This one I bought her because it was Dora!
This one is my number one favorite
I got her this one on clearance, it's really pretty in person
A leftover that was too big last year
This one is cute, it has red ruffles on the butt. Grandma Riggs bought her this one.
I LOVE this one too. Grandma Riggs also bought her this
Cute fruit one
Another of last years from Nana

And the last one. Another left over from Riki!

I think it's obvious we are READY for summer!!!

Dora House
First, this is how cute Paiton looked yesterday. I just had to take a picture. She was cruising around the house with her sunglasses on so I couldn't get a great picture, but still so cute!

A friend of mine from my old work emailed me and said that she had a Dora house that she was going to sell, but wanted to give to Paiton instead since she loved hearing about how much she loves Dora. So I went and picked it up.
It's pretty cool and has all the characters, some couches, a pool, and a bunch of other stuff. Plus it talks!

Paiton loves playing with it! My house is being taken over by Dora stuff!
Yesterday we swung by Kidz Again in Meridian because Paiton needs some more summer stuff. We found (she spotted) this Dora backpack! It was brand new for $2 so I got it for her to carry her Dora dolls in!
Playing in her Dora kitchen:
Yesterday I found a not so great surprise in the bottom of her Dora fridge, an OLD banana. Sick!
And some pictures from my phone I wanted to share:
Yesterday I came out of the bathroom to find Paiton doing this:
She had climbed up on the speaker in the living room! She is officially a mountain goat!
Found these super cute giraffe sunglasses at the mall the other day. (Don't mind the screamer face.)
And these cute ones happened to already be in the kid seat of the shopping cart at the store yesterday and Paiton immediately put them on:
(You may think I force my child to wear these, but seriously, she does it all on her own! She LOVES sunglasses and makes us put them on her whenever she finds them!!)
The other night when I was changing the sheets on our bed Paiton was running and jumping into the pile of comforter on the floor and laughing hysterically!
I caught her holding her baby like a baby. When I went to take her picture she pointed and said "My baby." So sweet.
And a funny story I forgot to share about our car buying experience! I traded in the Jetta and the dealer left the keys in the ignition before we got all our stuff out. Which is a problem because the Jetta locks itself about 10 seconds after you shut all the doors! So they had to break into it!

This afternoon I plan on taking some pictures of Paiton in all her bathing suits. You'll see what I mean by "all" when I post the pictures...

Cute Things
A couple cute things I kept forgetting to blog about.
--Paiton is still in LOVE with the Toy Story movies. She calls them "my movie" and asks to watch them incessantly. It's a good thing I like those movies!! One day we were walking through Walmart and she kept shouting "My movie!" over and over and I couldn't figure out what she wanted. Then I realized they have tons of new Toy Story toys out for the third one coming in June and she kept seeing Buzz and Woody toys and desperately wanted one! Too bad they're expensive!! She even grabbed a box of Toy Story macaroni and cheese off the shelf the other day and clung to it screaming "My movie!" at the cashier when she tried to scan it. She carried that around all day long.
--One of the cutest words she says is "Dinky", which is binky. It's very sweet. She'll say "Mommy my dinky!" and want me to find her one. Silly girl.
--She has blisters on her little feet right now from some flip flops and they're pretty bad. Every day we've been putting medicine on them and covering them up with Dora band aids (the only kind she'd leave one). So now she will hold up her foot and say "Owie!" and then "Hi Dora!" and wave to the band aid!
So cute!
Today she was walking around the house saying "Oh No!" over and over, and I got it on video! Yay! I tried to get her to say "Oh my" too, but it was just Oh no for today!
Enjoy!! (PS. lots more videos to come!!!) Oh and at the end that is her saying "Bite my yogurt!" As in, stop taping me and feed me!!!

Our Weekend
We had a pretty nice weekend, the weather was nice, so that was good!
Friday night we hung out at Nana and Papa's while Matt, Brandon, and Spencer all hung out together. Papa took Maya to the park to play ball and Paiton got a golf lesson!

Here is a cute video of them golfing:
Paiton finally fit into this super cute outfit that my awesome cousin Lynn gave her when she was born. It's a good thing I got this picture because immediately after she pooped all over it!
On Saturday we took Brandon and Carissa dinner and hung out while Brandon and Matt watched some fights on TV.
Going for a ride in the Escalade is so fun!

Drawing with sidewalk chalk:

Eating some snacks:
It was nice out so we took the babies on a walk:
Giving us her "Sweet" face
Cute girl!

Getting ready for a walk to the park:
She got yet ANOTHER pair of sunglasses! Grandma Kathy bought her these!!
Swinging away:

Hi Daddy!

This morning I found Paiton doing this:
Haha, such a girly girl! Grandma Riggs got her this little purse and apparently Pai knows just what to do with it!
And this post wouldn't be complete without some funny stories!
~The other day we were at my mom and dad's house. Cami told Paiton "You're weird!" and Paiton came running to me so I said "You go tell Titi that you're not weird, you're pretty!" So Paiton marches (literally, marches) over to Cami, points at her and says "I PRETTY!" and then she sticks her hand straight out and says "Bye!" With this little attitude and stormed away. It was absolutely the funniest thing I"ve seen ever. We were dying laughing!
~She now likes to take things and say "mine!" whether it's hers or not. She stole a cookie from Cadon the other day and said "Mine!" and took a bite! Silly girl!
~The other night we were making her do all her animal noises and Nana said "What's the kitty say?" and Paiton replied "Meow!" Which is hysterical just because we have no idea where she learned that one, it wasn't one any of us had taught her yet! But she does roar for a lion, make monkey noises, make a fish face, meow like a kitty and bark like a dog!
~She is getting so much better at saying "Please" and "Thank you". We still have to ask her to say please, but she usually says thank you on her own. Such a polite baby.
~Papa was eating a brownie the other night and asked Paiton if she wanted a bite of chocolate to which she replied "Ooooh! Chocolate!" and then kept saying it because it made us all laugh! It's funny to hear such a big word come from such a little body!
~Yesterday Paiton started saying "Oh my!" anytime anything would happen. It's pretty hilarious in her little high pitched voice!
~She loves to brush her teeth and will come into the bathroom and say "Teeth!" so that I'll brush them!
~She has been saying "banana" since before she was one, but it's still so cute. She sounds out every letter - ba-na-na!
~She also now says "seat" and "foot". She will pull her seat up and say "Seat!" and sit down. Or she'll shove her foot in your face and say "Foot!"
~The other day she had her hair in pigtails and Cadon said "Pai Pai your hair looks funny!"
~Today we went to visit Matt at school and one of the other teachers was trying to get Paiton to talk to her by feeding her chocolate Cheerios. Paiton was sticking her hand in the box and grabbing one and eating it and doing that over and over. Then we told her it was time to go so she picked up the whole box of Cheerios, waved at the teacher and said "Bye!" and walked out the door with the box!
Basically, we have the coolest kid ever!! SO funny!!!
