Fast update

I am going to quickly upload some pictures from my phone until I have a few minutes to update real pictures from my real camera!
And a quick update on the kids: Paiton's awesome, as usual. She knows all the months of the year and days of the week. She knows the Pledge of Allegiance and it's SO cute when she does it but she's very shy about it. Nana hasn't even gotten to hear it yet! My favorite part is that at the end she says "You may be seated" because that's what they say at preschool and they all think that that comes at the end! They all take turns every morning holding the flag at school and leading the pledge. So cute. She is still loving school and doing amazing. She's our little fireball and genius. She says things every day, every minute, that crack us up. Today some of our friends were leaving our house and she yelled "Make sure and drive careful!" Yesterday at the pumpkin patch Nana was teasing her and she told Nana "Don't fight with a two year old Nannie!" :)
Quinn is still the cutest boy to exist. He is so sweet and so handsome and he loves us SO much and we love him SOO much. He is having such a hard time right now. It is breaking our hearts. His acid reflux is so bad. So, so bad. His nights are spent in absolutely terrible pain. He screams for hours every single night. He isn't even crying like a baby would cry, he is screaming and letting us know he is in pain. He has been on a reflux medicine since he was itty bitty. They added a second one a couple months ago when he went from sleeping through the night to being up every 2-3 hours. Now I would give anything for him to sleep 2-3 hours. The doctors this week changed his second medicine from Prevacid to Prilosec in addition to his Zantac. We are hoping this helps, but won't know for awhile since it takes at least a few days to kick in. He also is at the end of his 4th week on antibiotics for ear infections that won't clear up. This last one has really done a number on his poor tummy. It is giving him terrible diarrhea and stomach pains, so we are hoping that with the conclusion of the medicine, and the new reflux stuff he will be back to his normal happy self next week. Matt has been a saint helping me this last week when it got really REALLY bad. He started waking up every single hour, every single night. Then the screaming started and it just.never.stopped. It is truly heartbreaking and such a trying time in our lives. It's so hard to listen to a baby scream in pain for hours and be completely helpless. We are basically taking turns just sitting up holding him, that's the only thing that will appease him for a little bit at a time. During the day he is much better, usually, although the last couple days have been touch and go as far as crying fits and how long they last. My poor kids and their reflux. I feel responsible. I have terrible heartburn, especially when I'm pregnant, and I can relate to wanting to just scream bloody murder all night long! :( That's pretty much Quinn in a nutshell right now. During the day he likes to be played with. He's not quite as content entertaining himself as he used to be, he likes interaction. He is still super lazy and doesn't want to roll or sit. I have seen him roll, I know he can, but he chooses not to. :) He is really silly and super ticklish. He loves to grab our faces and give huge, slobbery kisses. He says "Mama" ALL the time now. It melts my heart. Matt and I about died today when he was in his swing and woke up and said "Mama?" clear as day.
Ok, here are phone pictures!! I have tons and TONS of pictures coming if I ever have 5 free seconds. This week is busy for me - TONS of work and meetings (and a HUGE thank you to my mom who has had to watch my kids just about every afternoon this week while I quick run to meetings that I'm behind on! : / She may soon be wishing we didn't live 1 minute away!) I also have 5 photo shoots this week, which is awesome!
Isn't he so handsome!?
Someone thinks it's hilarious to take his socks off!! No-sock Locke!
Paiton's new favorite past time- worm hunting. She discovered that she loves worms and will sit and wait in hopes one will crawl in front of her. Which as you can see on this sunshiney day - didn't happen.
She's definitely my kid!! Loves to dip her french fries in her ice cream. Yummm.
5 months old is old enough for Pepsi right!?  ;)
Paiton concentrating very hard on her painting project we did the other day.
Tuesday night she had dance class and they were supposed to wear their costumes! She is Jessie from Toy Story! :) Doesn't she look great!?
 Howdy.
Today was their Halloween party at preschool. (You better believe there are a billion and a half pictures of that coming!)

Mama

I have some super cute apple picking pictures to post, but right now I just wanted to document and remember Baby Q's first real word! It's "Mama"!! Wooohoooo!!!
No one believed me when I said he's been saying "Mama" a lot now, but I think everyone has finally heard him say it a bunch! Yesterday he had an entire, very long conversation with Grandpa Riggs and it included lots of "Mama". :) Such a sweet boy {during the day. Night is a whole different story.}

Daily Happenings

Here are some pictures from my phone.
Here is Quinny at the old house lounging in his bathtub. Look at those ROLLS!!
Today the kids and I took a walk to the park near our near house. It was a really nice day so we enjoyed ourselves for a bit! Paiton told me she wouldn't smile but she would do this instead:

This is my boyfriend. I lubs him.

And I must share some of the funny things Paiton has said lately.
-She was laying down tonight trying to fall asleep when all of a sudden she sat up and yelled "Mom! My eyebrows are gone! They just like...fell off!"
-When I got her out of the car the grocery store: "Aaaggghh! It's so bright! I think the sun is trying to kill me!"
-Yesterday we got DishNetwork installed (woohoo, we're living the high life now, we have more than 6 channels to choose from!) The man who installed it was nice, but super weird {If you'd like, I can tell you about his 3 divorces, 4 children (one of whom is tongue tied and had the same surgery Paiton did at the same age, but is now receiving Speech Therapy and doing quite well ;)), and his 2 vasectomies. Yup.} and Paiton kept talking to him and starting new conversations no matter how many times I swatted at her and mouthed "STOP TALKING!" But she did say this, which cracked me up: "Don't you think Supernatural is sure creepy? I do, do you sir?" She kept calling him "sir", which cracked me up. At least she's polite!

Oh man, this girl keeps us on our toes. LOVE.HER.

First Field Trip!

I feel like the kids lives are full of "firsts" and I LOVE them.
Yesterday Paiton had her first field trip with her preschool. They went to a fun pumpkin patch and I can't even tell you the fun we had! Paiton was SO excited to ride in the "bus" with her friends to get there. She has been talking about it for days and days. I dropped her off at preschool, gave her big hugs and kisses, and went over to wait for them at the pumpkin patch :)

Her first bus ride was a success and she said it was "so fun".
Lining up - such good little listeners!

Learning about how pumpkins grow from seeds.

 Being little seeds.
 Growing into pumpkins.

Time to go through the hay maze!!

 Hmmm....which way to go?
Getting high fives for finding their way out!

She's going to be a heartbreaker.
Time to go for a tractor ride to pick out pumpkins!

 Ready to go!

 Saying hi to the ponies

Off in search of the perfect pumpkin! (Which she found, and which I didn't get a picture of because I was too busy carrying it, the camera, and the baby.)
All the kids posed for individual pictures. This is not her pumpkin, it's a prop pumpkin ;)

And the whole class, too cute!

I think that these pictures give a really accurate portrayal of how Paiton and Quinn are together. This morning she told me "I just want to squeeeeeze him up!"

"I have never seen 2 more beautiful children. And I have 11 grandkids." - Comment made to me by a little old lady. She speaks the truth.

Look closely in this one, you can see his bottom teeth! :)

I have lots of all time favorite pictures, add this next one to the list.
