{Happy 60th Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa!}
On Thursday, January 27, 2011, Grandma and Grandpa Riggs celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary! That is one loooong time! Mom and I had decided it needed to be celebrated and we decided to have a dinner for them. We made lasagna's, salad, and breadsticks. We thought it would be fun to order a replica of their wedding cake from the lady who did my wedding cake and does all the cakes we order. Mom worked hard to snag a picture of their original wedding cake, which ended up being too small to see what the design looked like, so I found a simple one online we liked and ordered the cake! Grandma (while looking for a picture of her wedding cake, though she didn't know why) stumbled upon her cake topper from their wedding! As her and Mom were looking at it Mom realized there was still cake and frosting stuck to the bottom!! 60 year old wedding cake - yum! ;) Mom offered to take it home and clean it for Grandma, but really we were super excited to be able to put it on top of this cake!

Awe, that was really nice of you guys. You did a great job. I'm so surprised at the reaction you got when asked to kiss. They are such love birds always so mushy ;-0 (that's my laugh face).,,
