And a quick update on the kids: Paiton's awesome, as usual. She knows all the months of the year and days of the week. She knows the Pledge of Allegiance and it's SO cute when she does it but she's very shy about it. Nana hasn't even gotten to hear it yet! My favorite part is that at the end she says "You may be seated" because that's what they say at preschool and they all think that that comes at the end! They all take turns every morning holding the flag at school and leading the pledge. So cute. She is still loving school and doing amazing. She's our little fireball and genius. She says things every day, every minute, that crack us up. Today some of our friends were leaving our house and she yelled "Make sure and drive careful!" Yesterday at the pumpkin patch Nana was teasing her and she told Nana "Don't fight with a two year old Nannie!" :)
Quinn is still the cutest boy to exist. He is so sweet and so handsome and he loves us SO much and we love him SOO much. He is having such a hard time right now. It is breaking our hearts. His acid reflux is so bad. So, so bad. His nights are spent in absolutely terrible pain. He screams for hours every single night. He isn't even crying like a baby would cry, he is screaming and letting us know he is in pain. He has been on a reflux medicine since he was itty bitty. They added a second one a couple months ago when he went from sleeping through the night to being up every 2-3 hours. Now I would give anything for him to sleep 2-3 hours.The doctors this week changed his second medicine from Prevacid to Prilosec in addition to his Zantac. We are hoping this helps, but won't know for awhile since it takes at least a few days to kick in. He also is at the end of his 4th week on antibiotics for ear infections that won't clear up. This last one has really done a number on his poor tummy. It is giving him terrible diarrhea and stomach pains, so we are hoping that with the conclusion of the medicine, and the new reflux stuff he will be back to his normal happy self next week. Matt has been a saint helping me this last week when it got really REALLY bad. He started waking up every single hour, every single night. Then the screaming started and it just.never.stopped. It is truly heartbreaking and such a trying time in our lives. It's so hard to listen to a baby scream in pain for hours and be completely helpless. We are basically taking turns just sitting up holding him, that's the only thing that will appease him for a little bit at a time. During the day he is much better, usually, although the last couple days have been touch and go as far as crying fits and how long they last. My poor kids and their reflux. I feel responsible. I have terrible heartburn, especially when I'm pregnant, and I can relate to wanting to just scream bloody murder all night long! :( That's pretty much Quinn in a nutshell right now. During the day he likes to be played with. He's not quite as content entertaining himself as he used to be, he likes interaction. He is still super lazy and doesn't want to roll or sit. I have seen him roll, I know he can, but he chooses not to. :) He is really silly and super ticklish. He loves to grab our faces and give huge, slobbery kisses. He says "Mama" ALL the time now. It melts my heart. Matt and I about died today when he was in his swing and woke up and said "Mama?" clear as day.
Ok, here are phone pictures!! I have tons and TONS of pictures coming if I ever have 5 free seconds. This week is busy for me - TONS of work and meetings (and a HUGE thank you to my mom who has had to watch my kids just about every afternoon this week while I quick run to meetings that I'm behind on! : / She may soon be wishing we didn't live 1 minute away!) I also have 5 photo shoots this week, which is awesome!

Paiton's new favorite past time- worm hunting. She discovered that she loves worms and will sit and wait in hopes one will crawl in front of her. Which as you can see on this sunshiney day - didn't happen.
She's definitely my kid!! Loves to dip her french fries in her ice cream. Yummm.
