Friday it was supposed to be 70 degrees!! Woohoo!! That's practically swimming weather! ;)
We started our day off by running a couple of errands to get them over with.
Paiton looked so cute, as always!
Then we headed to Donnie Mac's in downtown Boise for lunch. We like that restaurant, they have "white trash" food, like trailer dogs, macaroni and cheese with cut up hot dogs, and Spaghettios in a can! :) It was fun and while we were there we discovered that Paiton has a love for flamingos! There were plastic flamingos everywhere, along with some flamingo paintings and shower curtains. Paiton LOVED them and wanted to talk to all the flamingos and give them kisses.

My favorite was when she ran up to one of the plastic flamingos and said "Hello flamingo! How are you today?" :)
After lunch we headed to the zoo. The zoo was...well...a zoo! It was packed, clearly we weren't the only ones with that idea. We were about to give up since we couldn't find anywhere to park but then Matt spotted a car leaving and snagged their spot! We were good to go!
We headed into the zoo with a little girl who was very excited about seeing all the animals!
When we got in the gate she wanted a treat and since it was our Day Of Fun, we happily obliged and got the girl an ice cream cone!
After quite a bit of melting her hands got numb and she wanted her ice cream in a cup:
You should have seen the looks and comments we got from people! We knew she would end up covered from head to toe in ice cream, and we didn't care! We knew she would think it was a lot fun to have her own ice cream and get to eat it while we walked around. And she did!!
Watching the zebras:
There is a new thing at the zoo called Wallabie Walkabout. You get to go in and walk through an area that has Wallabie's out jumping around! Paiton liked watching them and saying hi to them:
The one on the far right just had a baby and there was a baby in her pouch!
Watching one of Paiton's favorites at the zoo - the Serval's
She LOVES the giraffes!
Watching the lions:

After we were done at the zoo we walked over to a nearby park because Paiton was just dying to play at "Play Park" (which is what she calls any park now thanks to Dora). We played on the swings for a long time and enjoyed the sunshine!
Blurry bare baby feet = spring time!
When we were done swinging we decided to take a chocolate milk/coffee break and head to Dutch Bros!
On our way we made a potty stop at an Albertson's. Paiton saw this big M&M and said she wanted to give it a high five "Like Titi did!" (Mom, Dad, and Cami had just gotten back from Las Vegas for a soccer tournament and Cami had taken a picture at the M&M store giving one of the guys a high five.)

Then it was on to Dutch for our treats!! Yum!
Then it was time to head to the movie theater!! Paiton has been wanting to see the movie that just came out "Hop", but when looking at times online Matt saw that one of the cheap theaters had Tangled in 3D for cheap!! I had never seen a 3D movie and we all know how much Paiton loves Tangled, so we thought that would be fun to do!
We got there a little early so we played some games while we waited for our movie. Then FINALLY it was time. I think it felt like a lifetime to Paiton! We got our popcorn and drinks and headed into the theater! Paiton liked her cool glasses and wore them the whole time!

We have seen the movie PLENTY of times before, but it was really good in 3D! I was impressed, it was very cool!
After the movie it was definitely time to head home. We had had a loooong day full of walking and lots of fun. Paiton and Mommy were exhausted! (And I think Daddy too a little bit!)
Paiton fell asleep in the car when we were barely out of the parking lot!

Well it looks like you had a fabulous day. The ice cream looked giant....and aren't you great parents for letting her eat it and enjoy it and not worry about the mess. Sometimes, you just gotta get a little messy to have fun. Wow, you guys did alot of eating that day. So many fun treats. Well, I guess you can do that when you are pregnant, why not? I think it sounds fun! Glad you got a beautiful day to go outside!!
Looks like a fun day. I'm sure Paiton had a blast :)
