A Day At The Lake

This week my mom has been off of work so we have enjoyed spending time with her! She has been a HUGE help watching Paiton while Matt and I work on the downstairs of our house! Today we (almost) finished it! We got all the tile laid and glued down! It was a lot of work, and even more for Matt since he did tons of it by himself! I am glad I was able to help today and a big THANK YOU to Nana for watching P for hours and hours so we could just get it done!! Pictures to come!
I just think Paiton looks so big in this picture. It's hard for us to believe we have an almost-2-year old!! She is so big and so fun!! She was just napping away on Nana's couch here:
Ok, now lake pictures!
It was a very hot day, 102 the car said, but the water at Sandy Point is always COLD! As usual we stopped at Subway on the way up and got sandwiches. Mom packed a bunch of snacks and drinks. The Lurcooks went up there with us and the Wades met us there!
