Brandon's Graduation

Yesterday Brandon graduated from the year-long training program at the prison. They had a little ceremony and we (Me, Paiton, Mom, Dad, Grandma Riggs, Carissa, Cadon, Ryan, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Tim) all headed out to Oregon to attend.

Paiton and Cadon are still the best of friends. They are so sweet (usually) to each other and Paiton can't get enough. She climbed up on Cadon's lap and they just kept hugging and kissing! They are too too cute!

It was dark in there for pictures so these aren't the best, I hope everyone can see them ok.

Brandon is the last one on the right in the front. There was a (fully grown, in her 40's) woman in front of me with pink hair that kept getting in the way of my pictures. If anyone's interested I have 47 pictures of her bad pink highlights.

Eyes closed! Dang! This is B receiving his award for scoring high on the written test he had to take:

B received the "Top Shooter" {that's not really what it's called I don't think...} award. He scored the highest during their firearms training and they thought he was the safest and followed all the rules, etc., so he got a special award for that:

One of our good family friends, Mark Nooth, is the Warden, Superintendent, I'm not sure what the correct term is, of the prison. We love the Nooth's and have been good friend with them since they moved here way back when Mark Steven and Cami were in elementary school (was it really that long ago??) Mark handed out the certificates that they are now Certified Correctional Officers and we thought that was pretty special:

The babies did so good sitting still and quiet through the ceremony. They got to eat cookies afterward! For some reason they decided to do that laying on the prison floor...great...
