9 months!

Quinn turned 9 months old today!! SUCH a big boy!!  

Just for fun here's a picture of each kid at 9 months! :)

Here are some facts about Quinn at 9 months! 

~At the doctor he weighed 18 lb. 10 oz. - that puts him in the 20% for weight. He was 27.25 inches long - 15-20% for height. We have petite little babies and they're SO precious that way!! He is now wearing 9 month size clothes! 

~He still isn't crawling. Like I figured, his doctor doesn't really care! Crawling isn't considered a developmental milestone so it doesn't really matter if he ever crawls or not. Paiton was a "late" crawler and walker (Not really late - but on the later side of normal) and I think Quinn will be the same. His mode of transportation is rolling! He can roll anywhere he wants to get and FAST! I'll set him down and he's already rolling away to find something to play with! 

~He is such a BOY! He loves anything electronic related - like his daddy! He always tries to grab the remote control, he rolls over to the Dish Network receiver and pushes the buttons, tries to grab it, etc. Matt - smart Daddy that he is - got Quinn an old remote and took the batteries out so he'd have one to play with! 

~He is a good little eater. Luckily both of my kids LOVE healthy food! Not that Quinn has much choice - we won't let him know what unhealthy food is!! :) Some of his favorites are edamame (he and Paiton LOVE edamame!), black beans, blueberries, peas, green beans, avocado, bananas. He loves his coconut milk and apple prune juice. He also loves his Greek yogurt with flax seed meal. The doctor said he can eat pretty much whatever we feel comfortable giving him except nuts, eggs, and shellfish - for obvious reasons!! 

~We call him a Chipmunk because he stores food in his cheeks - for real! We will get him out of his high chair, play, and 30 minutes later he'll pull a hunk of food from inside his cheeks and eat it!! He's SO silly and such a chipmunk!! 

 I love love this picture. It shows just a glimpse of how P and Q care for each other. They are always hugging, kissing, and being so loving to each other. Paiton was telling Quinn to sit still so he wouldn't fall and was "teaching" him to be safe. <3
