Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day has a whole new meaning when you are actually a Mother. It makes you appreciate your mom so much more. You know all the hard, hard work that goes into raising a child (or 2 or 3 or 4!) You understand that despite hours of crying, days without sleep, a house that looks like a tornado hit it, and having someone else's life literally depend on you, there is nothing better than to be a mommy.
Some people say that it takes awhile to bond with your baby, but I didn't experience that. Paiton was my best friend and my whole world from the time I found out I was pregnant. I remember dancing with her in my belly and knowing which songs she liked by how much she was kicking. From before I was even showing to being 9 months pregnant and HUGE and dancing with her and just loving her so much. The moment she came into this world and was laid on my chest my whole world changed. I was immediately attached to her, and have rarely been away from her since. She is the most perfect and most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on. She is perfection. Thank you Paiton, for making me a mommy. There is no one I'd rather spend all my days and nights with, no one I'd rather go shopping with, no one I'd rather dance with and sing to. You make me laugh and you make me cry and you make me complete.

And here's to our moms, who we love so much. Mom, you are also my best friend. I love spending Fridays with you and everything that comes with it - watching reruns of Wife Swap, playing with Paiton, and going shopping. You are amazing and you are a mom to everyone. The babies all love you so so much and so do we!! You are the best Mom and Nana we could ask for!
And to Kathy - thanks for being a great Grandma to Paiton and a mom to Matt and I! We enjoy our Wednesday nights together and we are glad you didn't move away! You are so great!
Paiton is definitely spoiled by all her Grandmas and they make her so happy!!
And to the other Moms and Grandmas - Grandma Riggs, Grandma Doris, Triple G (Grandma Genevieve), and Grandma Dottie - we love you all so much!! Happy Mother's Day!

And of course there are other "Mommy's" in Paiton's life.
Her Aunt Stacie: And Aunt Carissa
(Who you can't see in this picture but I love it because it shows Paiton giving her big loves!)
And we won't forget the TONS of other Mom's we love (ok, we probably will forget some, so I'm sorry. If you're a Mommy you can bet we love you too!)
But we'll attempt so to - Mom, Kathy, Grandma Riggs, Grandma Dottie, Grandma Doris, Grandma Genevieve, Stacie, Carissa, Aunt Lisa, Aunt Rhonda, Aunt Lori, Aunt Cheri, Amy, Riki, Aunt Theresa, Patti, Debbie Nooth, Debbie Koch, Kiki Putnam (not a mommy yet but on her way!), Brooke Arnold, Kim Fitch, Jennifer Thiede, Christine Christensen, and SO many others!!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!
