Our super fun weekend!

None of these pictures are edited, a lot are from my phone, and that's just the way it is around here lately :) There's my warning!
On Saturday: After we all got up and Quinn had his morning nap Matt decided we needed to go on a family date to breakfast! :) We went to Kneaders, which we LOVE, and ate delicious food!
Paiton is so cute when she wakes up!
Eating yummy breakfast! Paiton ate TWO sides of bacon and a snowman cookie!

Saturday night:

We had some {quick} visitors!! If you know us, you likely know who The Koch's are. They are our family best friends. They basically are an extension of our own family. My mom and Debbie met in pregnant lady Jazzercise when they were both pregnant with Kiki and I! :) So Kiki and I have literally known each other since we were in the womb. We are 5 days apart in age. Kiki was due first, but I came first -which she won't let me forget. ;) Then there's Jason and Brandon - close to the same age, Travis and Spencer - close to the same age, and then poor Cami - another sister to us all but with no partner. :)
They were in town for a wedding and came by my house to see everyone! We're SO glad they got to stop by! I FINALLY got to meet Kiki's son, Jantzen, and she got to meet Quinn!
This is Jantzen:

Playing ball with Grandma Debbie! :)

 They're SO cute!!

Kik and I and our boys!

Trying to catch all the kids - Ha!!

 ALL of us kids!!
ALL of us - minus Jay.
 The boys
 The girls

The Original Seven! Going in order of age - oldest to youngest
 Caught a kiss! Hehe!

 Mom and her BFF Debbie
 My toothless nephew! :)
After a quick visit they had to run to a dinner for the wedding.
Late that night we went to hang out with them at their hotel downtown. Driving down there Matt and I were laughing that it was after 9 pm and we were just leaving to go somewhere! Matt's words were "It's like we're in college again!" Haha! We NEVER go out that late anymore! And we very rarely go out without kids! :) Thanks to my mom for coming over late to watch the kids for us so we could go see Kiki and all the boys one last time!
We hung out by the pool and watched Jason, Brandon, and Travis swim. The rest of us played a mean game of Jenga! :)

Sunday: The fun continued! Paiton has been waiting MONTHS for Beauty and the Beast to come to theaters in 3D and it was finally time to go see it! We took her on a special Mommy/Daddy/Daughter date. Of course she wanted to go to Red Robin first - it's her favorite!
Then we got to the movie and she got special Beauty and the Beast 3D glasses!
She loves movies, and does good with 3D movies too. She's so calm that taking her to the movies is never an issue!

I spent some of the weekend buried in this:
Editing a REALLY great story written by my babiest brother. He's excellent. He's going to be supporting me someday. :)
And I even gave Quinn some solid foods. *Gasp!!* Which, by the way, he loved - as he does all food!

AND....Paiton got her very first ever haircut!! :) She's been needing a trim for awhile now but I just wasn't sure how she'd react and really just didn't think it was too big a deal!
She has a Strawberry Shortcake movie that she LOVES and in it all the girls get Glamicures (manicures) and they get their hair styled. She's loved having her nails painted since she was about 6 months old, and lately she's been obsessing over getting her hair "cut and styled."
So I made her an appointment with Angie and she asked when it was every day for about a week. :) Anytime we talked about it we had to say "cut AND styled"!
Here she is, a little unsure, but excited!
She even insisted that Angie wash it in the sink! She did great!

She kept giggling saying "ooooh it tickles!"

Angie had her hold a comb under her chin to keep her looking down while she trimmed the back. :)

It only stays straight for a second so I had to snag a picture!

Then it was time to get it styled!

 Little baby hair clippings! :(
Angie even put a cute bow in it!!

 Modeling her "styled" hair!! :)

I have a feeling we'll be doing this quite often.... ;)
