Update

I got a call from the hospital today. They had to reschedule Paiton's sleep study. :\ Although I wasn't looking forward to it, I was definitely ready to get it over.

The doctor ordered a special type of seizure monitoring that isn't typically done, so they had to order the machine for it. The machine didn't show up in time for her to get the sleep study done tomorrow. Apparently the doctor thinks this is a really important thing to rule out and that it may be what's causing the trouble, so she won't do the sleep study without it. We had talked about this but neither Matt nor I knew a special test was being ordered or that it was such a concern that it could be seizures. Paiton has now been put on the "rush" list and tentatively scheduled for April 6, but if the machine comes in sooner than that she will be moved up and takes precedence over other patients.

So now we are a little (lot) more worried and just hoping the machine shows up on time.

Please be thinking of Paiton and cross your fingers the machine shows up sooner than later and we can get this taken care of and seizures ruled out.
